Europe’s Longest Champagne Bar

Published by Journeys and Adventures at 1:00 am under England, Food & Drink Edit This

Champagne

The St. Pancras Station in London not only houses the Eurostar, the fast international European train, it also houses Europe’s longest champagne bar.

At over 90 meters (approximately 295 feet), the bar is open from 0700 to 2300 every day and offers rare champagnes like a 1985 Dom Perignon for £750, fun champagne cocktails (the Oriental Bellini with Pommery Brut Royal, lychee, elderflower & peach sounds good to me!), and plenty of other champagnes by the glass or by the bottle.

Food is also served throughout the day with a special breakfast menu (how about scrambled eggs, black truffles and chives on sourdough bread?) and other yummy offerings like an endive salad with Roquefort, apples, and walnuts.

That will definitely have to be a stop on my next visit to London.

That would be fun to slide across on a tea tray.
