A Lesson in Global Dining Etiquette

Traveling to a different country and feeling a little unsure about their culinary habits? 

     While studying dining etiquette isn’t always at the foremost of my vacation planning activities, it certainly is important…but sometimes we don’t realize that until we’re sitting on the floor of a tent in the desert watching others eat with their hands or watching the traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

    That’s interesting, Mei, about not using spoons…I wonder what I should do at my local Japanese restaurant here in Germany. It is run by Japanese, but the others in the restaurant might look at me a bit oddly!
