clip-art-young-traveling-people.jpgIn February, I gave a short lesson in Global Dining Etiquettea humorous quiz that challenged what you know about food culture around the world.  Travel+Leisure gives some further advice on “cultural mistakes” that could land you in tourist hell if you aren’t aware including:

  • Where and when it’s customary to touch someone

  • Using your left hand in certain countries to avoid really offending someone

  • Which countries encourage “textile-free”

  • Where you should take off your shoes

  • Who should pour your drink

Check out the article, bookmark it, and refer to it before making your next round-the-world adventure so you end up being an ideal traveler welcome in any culture.
