Travel Preparation Tip: Organize Your Travel Documents
As someone who travels often, I’ve discovered that an invaluable accessory is some kind of pouch or envelope dedicated to holding your travel documents, like the one below:

At home, our pouch is kept in a fireproof box with our passports stored inside. As we begin to make plans for our next trip, we put the relevant documents (hotel reservation information, airplane tickets, maps, etc.) in the pouch. I always review the contents the day before our departure, put the papers in order of what we’ll need (airline reservation comes before hotel reservation, for example), and print anything that’s missing.
It certainly makes for easy traveling the next day—especially when trying to handle several documents for several people.
Find a pouch that works for you:
-
Do you want it to be see through?
-
Do you want to carry it around your neck or in a bag?
-
How much do you need to fit in?
-
What size paper does it need to hold?
Investing in an item like this will be well worth the money and time spent!

You’re right (”we must be careful and we always check our things”)–I double-check for that pouch many times a day!
