The Good Soldier Svejk: and His Fortunes in the World War by Jaroslav Hašek–The satirical adventures of a Czech soldier and holy fool during the “War that ends all wars” in the Austro-Hungarian army. This book has been translated into more then 60 languages and the war anti-hero Schweik made also his appearance in various films.
